who am i
I am a self-taught woodturner who started turning mid 60. I had my first experience in my father's wood shop on his americain lathe: Walter Turner. At that time I already turne between center and on faceplate, turning different tools handles and salade bols with corbon steel tools.
When I retire in 1996 I decided to spend more time in wood turning. So I organized my garage as a wood shop. I got my father lathe and I but a 4 jaw chuck and several HSS turning tools from a famous English tool maker. At the same time I purchase several technic book from Australian, Americain, and English author.I fine tuned my technic being inspired by all these authors.
In 1999 I joined a woodturning club in Montreal: The West Island Woodturner.
